TO INTRODUCE THE ALL-NEW HUAWEI MATE XT TRI-FOLD SMARTPHONE, HUAWEI NEEDED AN EXPERIENCE THAT CAPTURED ITS GROUNDBREAKING INNOVATION WHILE REMAINING ACCESSIBLE TO EVERYDAY MALAYSIANS. THE CHALLENGE WAS TO DRAMATIZE THE DEVICE’S WORLD-FIRST STATUS IN A WAY THAT FELT BOTH VISIONARY AND RELATABLE
STRATEGY
WE POSITIONED THE HUAWEI MATE XT AS A STATEMENT OF BOLD PROGRESS – INNOVATION MADE BOTH VISIONARY AND ACCESSIBLE. RATHER THAN OVERWHELMING CONSUMERS WITH TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS, WE TRANSLATED THE IDEA OF “UNFOLDING” INTO A SPATIAL EXPERIENCE THAT WAS SIMPLE, STRIKING, AND INSTANTLY INSTAGRAMMABLE. THE EXHIBITION FRAMED THE MATE XT NOT ONLY AS A BREAKTHROUGH FOR TECH ENTHUSIASTS BUT ALSO AS A CULTURAL ICON FOR ANYONE CURIOUS ABOUT THE FUTURE OF SMARTPHONES – MAKING ITS CUTTING-EDGE INNOVATION TANGIBLE, VISUALLY POWERFUL, AND CULTURALLY RELEVANT
