DISNEY’S COLLABORATION WITH TOMMY HILFIGER ON DISNEY’S 100TH ANNIVERSARY REQUIRED SOMETHING PRETTY SPECIAL AND AWESOME TO SHOWCASE THEIR CHEERFUL COLLECTION
TARGET AUDIENCE: FUN-LOVING AND FASHION-LOVING 18 – 30 YEAR-OLDS
STRATEGY
TO CELEBRATE DISNEY’S 100TH ANNIVERSARY WITH TOMMY HILFIGER, WE DESIGNED A POP-UP EXPERIENCE THAT MERGED TIMELESS NOSTALGIA WITH MODERN FASHION ENERGY. THE APPROACH WAS TO ENGAGE GEN Z BY TURNING THE SPACE INTO A PLAYFUL STAGE WHERE DISNEY ICONS CAME ALIVE THROUGH TOMMY HILFIGER’S BOLD AESTHETIC. BY EXTENDING THE ACTIVATION OUTDOORS WITH OVERSIZED PHOTO-WORTHY INSTALLATIONS, THE POP-UP BECAME MORE THAN RETAIL; IT WAS CRAFTED AS A CULTURAL MOMENT THAT SPARKED ORGANIC SHARING AND AMPLIFIED THE CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION
