TOUCHING LIVES THROUGH A MOVING HUMAN STORY

CHALLENGE
VOLVO TRUCKS MALAYSIA WANTED TO LAUNCH ITS ALL-NEW FH SERIES IN A WAY THAT REFLECTED BOTH THE TECHNOLOGICAL BRILLIANCE AND THE HUMAN STORIES BEHIND TRUCK DRIVING. THE CHALLENGE WAS TO MOVE BEYOND A TECHNICAL DEMONSTRATION AND CREATE AN EXPERIENCE THAT CONNECTED EMOTIONALLY WITH FLEET OWNERS, DRIVERS, AND INDUSTRY STAKEHOLDERS

 

STRATEGY
OUR STRATEGY WAS TO HUMANIZE THE TRUCK’S STORY. INSTEAD OF FOCUSING SOLELY ON ENGINEERING AND PERFORMANCE, WE HIGHLIGHTED THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE WHEEL. BY BLENDING INNOVATION WITH NARRATIVE, WE CREATED A LAUNCH THAT CELEBRATED BOTH TECHNOLOGY AND HUMANITY

A HOLOGRAPHIC PROJECTION INTRODUCED THE FH SERIES MODEL WITH DRAMA AND SCALE, WHILE STORYTELLING MOMENTS GROUNDED THE BRAND IN REAL HUMAN EXPERIENCES. GUESTS WERE THEN INVITED TO TEST-DRIVE THE TRUCKS THEMSELVES, TURNING THE PRODUCT PROMISE INTO LIVED EXPERIENCE. THE EVENING CLOSED WITH A DINNER THAT PROVIDED SPACE FOR CONNECTION, RELATIONSHIP BUILDING, AND REFLECTION
